~Jane's P.O.V.:~
I watched Ethan take Benny upstairs to his room, as always. I sighed; He won't ever notice my crush on him...Yet.
Because one day, while Ethan was getting dressed, Benny went downstairs to get some soda. I couldn't help but watch him. Sarah was, I don't know, doing something in the bathroom. I was sitting on the couch, playing with my dolls. Wow, I thought. He looks good today. While I was thinking, he sat by me. I stared.
"What?" He asked.
"What do you mean, what? You sat by me." I reply smoothly. Oh yea, I got this.
"I mean, you know I'm a spell master, right?" I nodded. "And I do spells?" I kept nodding. Where was he going with this? "And I have a mind reading spell?" I stopped nodding. That's why... OH NO!
"You're point is?" I say, a little less cooly then I liked. He leaned in close to my ear and my beath quickened.
"I can hear you, Jane." I just sat there, still and stiff. He chuckled and leaned back. I came out of my trance.
"I-I can ex-" He cut me off.
"You already did." I blushed deeply.
"I hate you." I mumbled. He laughed and went upstairs. Then Sarah came in.
"So, what do you want to do?" She asked. I hoped Benny couldn't still hear me; I was thinking like no 12 year old girl should think... Though I liked those thoughts.
"Don't ask me that, Sarah."
