Sara felt the rise and fall of his breathing, the warmth of his chest through their thin cotton tee shirts. The welcome roughness of his jaw against her forehead.
She stared at their linked hands, his stroking thumb. Re-acquainted herself with those long, slender, supple fingers. Smiled slightly. "You know, Michael," she began, matter-of-factly, "the next time I see you kneeling in front of me, it'd better not be with your hands behind your head."
His chest heaved and he slid down the bed, face covered by a coveted hand.
And her smiled broadened at this new acquaintance. Michael's laughter.
