Say You Love Me

Chapter One

This town fucking sucks, I say over and over again in my head. Dad gets caught with his pants down with the new post secretary at the Sheriff station and Mom put in a transfer to anywhere but Sacramento. Then whoosh off to Charming we basically ran. You would have thought that with Dad having two kids and being married to Mom for 20 years would have kept him faithful, yeah right. I hate this town, I've only been here for three days and I'm bored out of my mind. Staring at the ceiling of new recently painted grey bedroom, I start to think that a walk would do me some good, its not too dark out. I thought I saw an ice cream parlor on our way to our new house. Which isn't so bad, I actually really love this house. Mom said that she would let me decorate the entire place own my own! I'm glad she trusts me with things like that, especially with me only being sixteen.

"Shay, you know I'm not into painting or anything like that and with this new position at the sheriff's department here in Charming I doubt I'll have time to do it anyway. Would you like to help me out with that?"

I look up at her from the kitchen table, "Yes Ma'am Sheriff Brenda of Charming" with a huge smile on my face.

So of course I started with my bedroom. I figured I'd leave my sisters room alone. Let her do what she wanted and help her out if needed. Speaking of Step…

"STEPHAINIE! I'm running into town real quick!" I yell as I walk down the stairs. I tie my white converse up and head out. Stephanie 'does do' dairy she has told me time and time again. So I don't feel bad about going to get ice cream with out her.

I put my iPod on and started walking into town. It only took about twenty minutes to almost reach the ice cream shop. With all the walking I had done, the back of my neck had gotten all sticky, so I bent over to put my hair up. As I was trying to manage my thick mane of hair, I heard motorcycles coming from up the street. I had always wanted one but with both of my folks being in law enforcement, a sixteen year old a bike was a complete no- go. I stood up straight and watch the bikes go by. There were five guys on the bikes that just so happen to stop right in front of the parlor. Sweet & Scoops the front sign said. As I walked to open the door, one of the guys took off his helmet and opened the door for me.

"Here you go, darlin'" he said. I froze. He was the most beautiful man I had ever seen in my life. With those clear blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. He's freaking beautiful.

"Thanks" I said as I walked inside. I walked straight over to the counter to try and pick out a flavor as I overheard the guys talking about me.

"What a nice lookin lass. We don't have many blacks in Charming and I swear I haven't seen her around her before."

"Dude, she's got the body of a goddess! Think she'll give me her number?"

"Man, Juice you have got to get laid soon you sound desperate as fuck. She's a sweet looking thing though I'll give you that."

I started smirking as a guy behind the counter with fake fingers walked up and asked me if I had made a choice yet. All of the guys were walking towards the back of the shop headed up the stairs.

"Yeah," I replied sweetly.

"I'll take a chocolate and vanilla swirl in a cone please" The blonde guy turned around and smirked at me. I winked right back at him and turn my attention back to fake fingers to pay for my ice cream.

"Hey, Chuckie, that cone is on the house." the handsome blonde said as he now was leaning against the wall by the stairwell.

"That's okay, I can pay for my own thanks." I say looking him straight in the eye smiling at him.

"It's alright darlin', I gothca this time."

He says looking at me up and down like I'd make a nice meal for him.

"Well…thank you. I'm Shay. Shay Parker. We just moved in about 20 minutes from here." I say sticking my right hand out to shake his. A look of recognition passed across his face before he finally walked toward me to shake my hand.

"Jackson Teller, nice to meet you. So…umm where did you move here from?" he asks me.

"Sacramento. Dad fucked up, Mom couldn't deal so we basically packed up and moved here." I told him.

I don't know what it was about Jackson, but I felt a fire slowing starting to burn within me. I didn't know if that was a good or bad thing. I finally took in a moment to actually look at him. Oh he's a bad boy all right…. the scruffy look looks good on him. I notice that he's wearing a leather cut with a Sons of Anarchy patch and underneath it, his position of Vice President sat proudly.

"Your mom's a sheriff right?" he asks.

I automatically looked down. I hated the fact that both of my parents had anything to do with all enforcement. That's why I only had a few friends back home. Everyone always thought I would snitch on them. I knew once I let Jackson know that we were related, he wouldn't want anything to do with me.

"Um yeah, both my folks are." I say quietly.

I look up out of the window and notice that its gotten a few shades darker than when I originally left the house.

"Well it was nice meeting you Jackson, I really should get going its getting really dark out."

"Do you want me to give you a ride?" he asked me as he cracked a smile. My face lights up with excitement. I had never been on an actual bike before.

"Really?! You would!? Oh…well I'd love to but my mom would probably kill me!" I say quickly.

"That's okay darlin', hand me your phone." I had over my iPhone as Jackson programs his number in and then calls own phone.

"Now you have my number when you do want to go on a ride. I saw how your face lit up," he says as he hands me my phone back and kisses the side of my head.

"When you want to rebel a little bit, give me a call. Text me when you get home safe, Beautiful." Jackson then turns around and heads back up stairs with a little swagger to his step if I might add.

I turn around and head out of the shop, saying goodbye to Chuckie. Thinking about what just happened with Jackson, maybe this town won't be so bad after all.

NOTE

I have never written a fan fiction story before even though I have read them for years. I have a direction in which I tend to take this story and any reviews are much welcome!
