Well, this is a small exercise to improve my English. As you may notice, I'm still learning this beautiful language and I thought that it could be a good idea to write a fanfic since I really love this activity. Please let me know if I can improve any part of this SouGou drabble. Also, if you like it, you can always leave a review.
Thanks for reading :)
Gou yawned with half closed eyes. It was so hot that she couldn't sleep and, at some point, she decided it was better get up and drink a glass of fresh water. Maybe that could help.
She went downstairs carefully, without a light because she didn't want to wake the others up but she was sleepy and stumbled in the last stair; she was ready to face the hit when a pair of hands held her. Strong and big hands. It wasn't Rin holding her by the waist because the shadow in front of her was taller.
Oh, no.
"So-Sousuke-kun" she stammered, standing up as fast as she could, "I thought you were sleeping."
"You're still the same girl" he answered. She couldn't see his face but she could swear he was smiling.
"What are you talking about?" she frowned, totally awake now.
"When we were kids, you used to wake up in the middle of the night. Then, you'd go into Rin's room so we could take care of you because you were scared." He leaned his back on the wall.
"Well, we're no…" she hadn't finish when he turned the lights on. He was wearing the pants of his pajama and had the thorax completely naked, showing his perfectly trained body. She was wearing shorts and a blouse with little pink sharks. She was a little bit embarrassed. "We're no kids anymore"
He shortened the distance with a single step, looking at her with those mesmerizing eyes. And she just stayed. Looking back at him, with her thoughts lost in his smile.
"Certainly. We're not." He whispered. O maybe he didn't. Maybe he had screamed but… how could anybody had known? Yamazaki laughed with satisfaction and tenderness. "Aren't you going to say something?"
Yes. Of course. Come on, lungs. NOW.
"My brother's upstairs" she finally said, with a whisper that gave her back control. He smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Be careful next time" he asked, "don't you fall on anybody else's arms."
