Voldemort is released as Tom Riddle after 20 years in the british muggle prison system. He gets a muggle job as a gardener, mowing the Dursely family's (Dudley and Lisa Turpin) lawns and tending to their gardens, while going to night school.
20 years later he is a world famous horticulturist. He has won more awards and receved more recognition in the muffle world than he ever did in the magical world. He was torn asunder by Remus Lupin on a full moon night while Severus Snape (the old bat) turned out to be a real vampire and also helped Remus shred old man riddle.
Muggle deaths never make it into the magical press.
