She looked up toward the sky. It's been so long since I've met someone like me. She thought. Since humans got smarter, demons are on the run. What happens if they find me?
Flashback
"Kai hurry upstairs." Her mother said. Her three-year old legs weren't very fast yet. Ding-dog. Kai hid behind the banister on the stairs. " I see it's that time." A voice came from behind the door. " It never has and it never will be." She said coldly. " Mara chasm, you premised me when you had children I could take one and sacrifice it," " Well, sacrifice me then. My children are all I've got. Take me." End flashback She shook her head.
" Urameshi, did you lose the map again?" An orange haired boy yelled. " Of course not. What kid of idiot would lose the map?" The boy he was talking to you said, searching his pockets. " You would." A short boy said. " Hey I didn't lose the map. I gave it to Hiei." " No you didn't" The short boy said. " Stop trying to blame me for your stupidity." Kai jumped down from her tree. " Are you lost?" She said, trying to lend a helping hand. " No" Three boys said at once ant then continuing their fighting. " Well you can say that." A voice said. Kai stopped, staring into the green eyes that were now in front of her. a boy, just barely taller than her was now talking. " I'm Kurama, that's Yusuke Hiei and Kuwabara." he said. " Also Known as the idiots" she mumbled. " What's the fastest way out of here?" " Well, there's flying teleporting and that path over there." She said, pointing in a random direction" Yusuke looked closer. " What path?" She shot a blast of fire right past his head. " That path. follow me." She said, waving them over. " Hey... Kuwabara said. If they're's any monsters I'll preotect you." Kai punched him. " That's okay I'll just pretend they're you." She said, smiling. Hiei laughed. " What's so funny shrimp?" Kuwabara said, now glaring at Hiei. " Watching a girl beat the crap out of you." " Well It wasn't funny... That hurt." She turned to Kurama. " Should I stop them from killing each other" She asked. " No. They fight all the time." " Well in that case GO HIEI!" She said playfully " What's you name?" Yusuke asked, no longer interested in the fight. " Kaione Kasumi. Call me Kai."
