*Slaps forehead* Never mind…Anyway, this is a fledgling work that I'm gonna post and see if I want to continue it. So onward Silver!
Tenalki: Hey am I in this hon? Oh yeah don't you need to do the disclaimer?
Oh yeah thanks dear, I don't own DBZ, or any of the characters. Although I wish I did because I think some of them would do well in spandex and chains and whips. *Leers at Goku*
Goku: Huh? *Looks at SSH* Hey what's with the-GET AWAY FROM ME!!!

Screams penetrate the acrid air as fire dances around flesh, eating with unyielding hunger. The flames roar around the rubble and mangled limbs, blackening instantly at the heat. Blood lay everywhere from the death that had descended upon the helpless city with unimaginable speed; children lay with glassy eyes, staring at something no other could see.
Soon the screams fade as the fire engulfs the remaining victims, rendered helpless at the agonizing death. All that is left is the roar of the inferno, the screams silenced by the searing heat.
"What the HELL happened?" Screamed a young man as his eyes fixated in steely rage.
"W-We don't know my lord." Stated the figure taking the verbal abuse; the king walked over with bloodshot eyes, for he had only been waken moments before.
"How can you not know, since you are the general." The king stated in an unusually calm voice.
Swiftly he grabbed her arm and pulled her close to his body, placing his smooth lips to her ear, whispering, "If you do not find out soon I will kill your children and husband in front of you before I kill you. Am I perfectly clear?"
An abrupt nod was the only response as the king roughly let go of the woman as she lost her balance. She regained it by taking a few steps backward, her composure still up to her standards while inside she was screaming as her life fell apart before her.
Slowly she bowed and stated, "It shall be done as you wish, my king."
Sluggishly the king waved her away and walked back into his chambers to get a few hours more of sleep.

I bet all of y'all wont guess who the king is and I know who the general is gonna be. There will be some twists in this story to come later, and this is just a preliminary chapter to see if people want me to continue.
