Fluffy!
Chapter 1- The First Victim.
Princess Peach is getting a can of wet cat food out of the cupboard. She opens the can expecting her cat Fluffy to come running. When he doesn't appear after the loud noise the can's lid makes when opened, she starts calling for him. "Fluffy, Fluffy, dinner's ready." She hears a noise that sounds like a meow coming from the kitchen door, realizing she must have locked him out she walks over to let him in. She opens the door and the cat runs over to the food dish. Smiling she turns and shuts the door, and when she turns around Fluffy isn't eating. Instead he is giving her an odd stare. She starts to feel really wierded out and walks over to the window above the sink to get some fresh air, right when she opens the window when she feels something rip through her body. She spins around to see what has attacked her. After letting out a blood curdling scream, she falls to the ground blood forming a pool around her broken body.
The next day police are investigating the murder of Princess Peach, looking for evidence, talking to the toad next door who had called in the crime in a few hours earlier, and the Princess Peach's husband Mario who arrived home shortly after the murder. "So explain to me again what happened?" says Police Chief John Blake(a gold skinned goomba) to the victim's neighbor. " I heard a scream over at their house, so I went over to check it out and I saw Princess Peach facedown in the kitchen bleeding with huge chunks of flesh missing from her back and sides. After seeing this I fled from the house, came home and called you immediately after." replies the neighbor. John Blake then turns to Mario and asks "Where were you Mario when this happened?" Mario replies(with tears in his eyes) "I was out buying more cat food because we were running low on it." John is about to ask Mario another question when a koopa comes running out of the house with a plastic baggy. "Chief" the koopa says. "We found something you might want to see." He removes a 6 inch ivory black claw from the of the bag. "My god." John Blake says in shock and with a questioning glance at Mario. "What could this have come from?" "I have no idea." says Mario. "We have a cat but that claw is way to big for it to be his. He is just a little bit bigger than the claw itself." John then asks "May I see the cat?" "Yeah sure" replies Mario who starts calling for the cat. "Fluffy, Fluffy come here boy." The cat comes around the side of the house, it's a small, long haired tabby with pure black fur, white eyes, and a innocent dispostion. "Sir, we also found this." says the koopa. He holds up some long black fur. "It was found inside the claws marks on the victims back." In shock Mario replies "That, that can't be his fur, look how long it is, a-a-and besides that claw and the marks are almost his size. So how could he have done this?" "True, very true." says John "but just in case I'd like to do a DNA test the claw and fur found in the wound and the claws and fur on your cat, if that's ok?" "Sure, it's fine just please figure this out soon." says Mario in a very distressed manner because he doesn't want to lose his pet so soon after losing his wife.
