With a yelp Padfoot floated off the ground, all four legs flailing uselessly against the spell.
Prongs and Moony appeared from under the invisibility cloak. Wands pointed at the dog, they began to move it towards the stairs leading to the boy's bathroom. The dog struggled even more frantically as it saw that James held a bottle of Lily Evan's lavender-scented shampoo in his free hand.
"I don't know what you rolled in," James said grimly, "but enough is enough, Pads. Tonight is bath night."
