Running out under the gray skies, he watched as Lilly spun in circles. It was not long before she was soaking wet, the raindrops covering her skin and melding with the fabric of her clothes. She laughed, closing her eyes and tilting her head back toward the sky. Her mouth opened and water dripped into it.

One of her shoes caught on a rock, and he watched as she began to stumble, about to fall down. He rushed to her aid and caught her before she hit the mud, though, and she looked up into her fiancée's blue eyes. As if on instinct, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her rain-coated lips to his. He moved back though, so she untangled herself from his arms then continued with her spinning.

"Lilly, what are you doing?" he asked her, eyes amused as she paused a moment to give him a calculating look.

"Isn't it obvious?" she skipped over to him, lucky to not slip on the ground. "I'm dancing in the rain," she leaned forward and pecked his lips. "And I just kissed in the rain."

Lilly grabbed his hand and began waving his arms around with hers, starting to do the waltz. He grinned and gave way to the love of his life's desire, twirling her and then grasping her waist with one hand, holding hers with the other. He went through the steps that the dance instructor had taught them, the ones they took to prepare for their wedding reception.

The look of glee on her face was enough to make him elated. He may not understand his future wife most of the time, but he loved her all of the time. "Why does this make you so happy?" he could not help but inquire.

"I used to do it as a child."

There was no more time for talk as they spun and walked and danced to a song only they could hear. He spun her away from his body, rolling her into his body and grasping her free hand with his. With his lips pressed close to her ear he whispered, "you are so beautiful," he nibbled at her ear, causing a small giggle. But then he began kissing down her neck and it turned to a small moan.

She flipped herself around to face her betrothed and her eyes began to lure him in. There were drops of water from the rain running along her lips and dripping off her bangs. If it were possible, she was even more gorgeous than he had ever seen her.

He felt her hands slide up his chest and onto his cheeks. She watched their progress while he watched her. Then their eyes met before she flashed him a small smile and stood up on her toes, pressing their lips together once more. However with this one, it did not feel rushed. On the contrary, it felt like they had all the time in the world. It was a slow, gentle kiss that built a smoldering need in each of their stomachs as they tried to show their love for one another through pressure and open mouths against each other. His hands went to the back of her neck, and one along her back as he rubbed circles that matched their pace. When she began smiling in the kiss she sucked on his bottom lip, breaking the kiss and opening her eyes.

Knowing this was the perfect moment, he pulled her hand away from his neck and twirled her in a slow motion. She smiled as soon as she was facing him again.

"I love you Jackson," she pecked his lips once more.

"And I love you too, Lilly," he leaned down to place his chin on top of her head as they began to dance again, holding each other close as the rain continued to slowly fall.

Author's note;

These two just make such a fantastic couple! (:

Thank you to my Hannah Beta, Melissa (Team M) who always fixes my mistakes.

I was listening to the song "Rain Falls Down" by We The Kings while writing this.

Just an uber amount of fluff. xD
