Theresa sat in the rocking chair, her pink night gown flowing around her legs. She was holding the newest addition to their little family, Jude.
Judging by the sounds floating through the wall, Jay was putting their twins, Tania and Jacob, to sleep. A smile crept onto Theresa's features as she thought about her children and their expressions when they knew that they were going to have a little brother.
Hey, Jude, don't make it badTake a sad song and make it betterRemember to let her into your heartThen you can start to make it better
Theresa sang, her melodious voice filling the room.
Hey, Jude, don't be afraidYou were made to go out and get herThe minute you let her under your skinThen you begin to make it better
Little Jude yawned, opening his mouth wide as his eyes started closing, comforted by the sound of his mother's voice.
And any time you feel the painHey, Jude, refrainDon't carry the world upon your shoulders
Tucking the blue blanket that was wrapped around him, Theresa stood up, tacking her baby to his crib.
For well you know that it's a foolWho plays it coolBy making his world a little colderNa nananananananana
Picking the long brown hair out of his face, Theresa gazed down at her son lovingly.
Hey, Jude, don't let me downYou have found her now go and get her(Let it out and let it in)Remember to let her into your heartThen you can start to make it betterBetter, better, better, better, betterAhhh
Quietly backing out of the room, she paused in the doorway, still singing.
Na nanananananaNa nananaHey, Jude(3x)Na nanananananaNa nananaHey, Jude, Jude, Jude, Jude...
Still gazing at her son sleeping in his crib, Theresa sighed, and then turned around.
"Goodnight, little Jude..." she said over her shoulder.
