to welcome the New Year
12 o' clock already:
2013 is officially here.

But the silent warriors of the night
don't have time to celebrate;
they have battles to fight
and a city to defend.

Their enemies are too many;
the energies almost none.
But the warriors continue fighting
until the last of their foes are gone.

They return home,
battered and exhausted.
Their Master and father welcomes them
feeling more relieved and less worried.

The warriors tend their wounds,
stitch the cuts and treat the bruises;
patch their bodies, remove bullets.
And the list goes on.

No one will know about their victories
or how many they have saved.
Unknown guardians; hidden in shadows.
Darkness is their domain.

Another year dies, a New one is born;
nothing will get better neither will get worse.
But something won't change, no matter how many years are yet to come:
The warriors of the night will continue to protect their city: New York.

Anyway… another year, another story. It's been fun, guys. Sorry I didn't update as fast as I used to but life is a B*tch. Let's face it.

I don't hate the new show; I think it's pretty cool and I LOVE the new Leatherhead! But I'm sticking to the 2k3 series and the CG movie for my stories. Just warning the future new readers:
