Movie Night
The backyard was silent and dark except for the squeaks of Gabriella being lead by Troy and the twinkling stars in the sky above them as well the carefully strung white fairy lights in the bushes.
Tonight was date night and Gabriella didn't know what was happening. Troy had phoned said he would pick her up at 6.45 and to dress casual. But as for the nature and the location he hadn't given anything away.
So dressed in a floaty blue top, black cardigan, black skinny jeans and black flats accessorized with the heart necklace set Troy had given her the pervious Valentine's Day she had waited for his arrival. And upon that arrival he had blindfolded her.
And on arriving at the destination he had taken the offending item of her face but told her to trust him and let him lead her. So she had.
And when the blindfolded had come off what a sight.
They were in the Bolton's backyard but what a transformation. White fairy lights were strung from the trees and brushes. A thick tartan blanket was lay on the grass in front of a movie screen that was strung underneath the tree house.
And on the blanket sat a pizza box, a smaller box which Gabriella assumed contained garlic bread, a basket of chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of coke.
And ready to play on the screen Gabriella's all time favourite movie Made of Honour.
It was a going to be the perfect date.
