"Tap dancing is painful," Blaine announced as Kurt led him inside the house.

"Would you like me to fill the bathtub? I have some cinnamon scented bubble bath that supposedly relaxes tight muscles. It might help your feet."

"That would be great, Kurt." Blaine lent Kurt a smile, who immediately shared one in return.

Blaine followed Kurt to the bathroom where Kurt immediately started the bath water and pouring in the bubble bath.

Kurt asked about Blaine's first tap class that Mr. Schuester had suggested he try. Blaine explained everything from the rhythms, which were easy, to the different time steps and their different variations, which were hard to keep straight. The shuffles were fine, and anything else that didn't travel. It was the steps across the floor where he fumbled a bit. His favourite, though, were by far the crawls.

"You're a regular Fred Astaire," Kurt joked. Blaine laughed, taking off his shoes and socks.

"And in honour of this rite of passage," Kurt said, "I thought we could pay homage to the wonderful Astaire!" Kurt bounced two steps across the bathroom and pressed play on the CD player waiting on the corner of the counter. Kurt had the Funny Face soundtrack waiting.

Kurt did jaunty little hand movements as the album kicked off, elated in its happy sound. He sauntered back to the tub, checked the water, and turned the tap off.

"Water's ready!" he announced. Blaine and Kurt switched places.

Blaine rolled up his pants, stepped into the water, and sat on the edge of the tub, sighing with relief.

"Would you like to join me," Blaine invited Kurt, who was currently rummaging through one of the cabinets.

"Perhaps, but I know someone who will for sure!" Kurt crawled over to Blaine and held up a rubber duck, squeezing it to make it squeak. Blaine laughed, taking the duck from Kurt. He set it afloat amongst the bubbles. He swirled the water around with his feet, letting the duck ride upon the gentle cinnamon scented waves.

Kurt had taken his own socks off and then took a seat next to Blaine, easing his feet into the hot water.

Blaine stopped swirling the water and touched Kurt's foot briefly with his own. Smiling, Blaine swatted the rubber duck in Kurt's direction. When it reached Kurt, he twirled it around, sending it circling itself.

Both Kurt's and Blaine's hands were side by side. Kurt merely lifted a few fingers, stretching them just far enough to slightly overlap with Blaine's own fingers on the edge of the tub.

Blaine looked at Kurt, who was already smiling at Blaine.

Kurt leaned in and touched his lips to Blaine's, slightly pulling on his upper lip as he pulled away.

Kurt then sent the yellow duck back to Blaine.
