Hey, you! We keep missing each other. I was the guy who had my manservant deliver you a letter after I saw you going into the Bastille in 1789. I'll never forget that day-boy, was it a scorcher. Mid-July, ugh. But your beauty was radiant! Anyhow, my note must have been destroyed in all the commotion. Then there was that moment in 1912 after that blasted unsinkable ship sunk, when my life raft floated past another life raft where I swore I saw your honey-colored mane of hair out of the corner of my eye, but that was probably wishful thinking (even so...did you see me? I winked!). Another time-seriously!-in 1918 (July again!) I saw you hanging with my Romanov homies in Russia I was like, is that her? I think so! but something crazy happened that day...the details escape me, but my friends said you were paranoid about having your photo taken and left before you even got my message, probably. Anyhoo, when I saw you again looking at fabric samples for redecorating your house in Forks, I had to find you. Lol, now that I reread this I can see: this could be anyone! But on the off chance you saw me, too...a distinguished (I think!) gentleman with blonde hair...and remembered me, well, send me an electronic mail message using the newfangled computer machine.
