Chapter 1: The Beginning
Some of the following seen could be considered something that I see it as and not Nintendo. Mario, Sonic and other characters belong to Nintendo, Sega (respectively) or possibly other companies. At the end of each chapter, any words with *s would be followed with Author's Notes (mostly talking about references).
5 days after the Rio 2016* Olympic Games, everybody was just having a peaceful day** doing their average things. Until one day, Mario came outside the castle and saw that there was a letter on the floor. It said the following:

Mario was suspicious of this but passed it off. However, when he opened the envelope, he was engulfed by a bright white light. When the light disappeared, so did Mario.
What ever happened to Mario?
