It was the middle of July, and the air conditioning inside NASA's building was broken!

Tony was suffering in his office. He had his coat off, his tie loosened, his shirt unbuttoned (the first two), and even his shoes off!

Jeannie suddenly appeared. She wore a blue dress. "Hi, Master!"

"Oh, hi, Jeannie."

They hugged and kissed. Then she fanned herself.

"It is hot in here!"

"The building air conditioning system is broken."

"I have an idea, Master."

She blinked. The two of them became drenched with water—as if they had just taken showers with all their clothes on!

"There. That is better, is it not?"

"Jeannie! We have our clothes on!"

"I will blink us dry before I leave, Master."

He calmed down a little. "This does feel cooler, actually."

"On really hot days, the sultan and I would lie in one of the palace fountains with our clothes on."

"Is that so? That does sound relaxing."

"Master? It is Friday; let's go to a restaurant, tonight—please?"

"All right, Jeannie. There's a new Chinese restaurant that's opened that I wanted to try."

"Thanks,, darling Master!" She hugged and kissed him.

"MAJOR NELSON!"

Dr Bellows was staring at them!

Jeannie quickly blinked, and the two of them were dry again.

"Hi, Dr Bellows," said Tony. "Is something wrong?"

He stared at them. "It's funny. For a moment, I thought the two of you were—dripping wet!"

He laughed. "That was probably just sweat—it's so hot!"

"Oh. . . yes. Hi, Jeannie. I didn't see you come in."

"Hi, Dr Bellows. I just 'popped in!'"

"Actually, I came to tell you that the air conditioning system will take longer to fix than we first thought. Therefore, we're letting all non-essential personnel take the rest of the day off. Have a nice weekend."

"Thanks, Dr Bellows."

He shook his hand, and Jeannie kissed him on the cheek. He started to leave, but paused for a bit.

"That's funny. I'm pretty sure I saw the two of you soaking wet!"

Tony laughed with embarrassment. Dr Bellows left.

Tony buttoned his shirt, straightened his tie, and put his coat and shoes on. "Let's eat, Jeannie!"

"Yes, Master!"

"And perhaps we'll find a fountain to cool off in!"

She giggled and kissed him.
