Paul~

Worry. That's the emotion he feels when he thinks of his unborn child. Not because of the usual Daddy stuff though. He wishes that was all it was. What was really on his mind was the gods okay, not really just the gods. More like all the monsters that come with the package of having the gods. Or Demigods. Honesty, he felt bad thinking of it in that way. Percy was staying out of the way most of the time now which hurt both him and Sally. He had started to think of Percy as his son but, it not only hurt for him to be gone; it hurt when he stayed too.

Percy put his baby in danger by being around. His aura attracted monsters which could possibly attack any of them but, of course his main concern was Sally. Paul was sure that Percy could take on any monster that crossed his path but the worry still remains. What if the monsters come and decide to take Sally and his unborn baby away as hostages. Leverage even. Most monsters hate Percy and what they wouldn't do to hurt him is unreal. They've hurt him, his girlfriend, and many of his friends in the past, so what's stopping them from coming to their apartment in the Upper-East-Side and taking Sally and just killing her to hurt Percy. Nothing is. It hurts to push him away and it hurts when he stays. And even though Paul doesn't really mean it whenever Percy is around he tries to avoid having just Sally and Percy in a room together. What if a monster comes and he isn't there to even to try to help. It was devastating.

"Paul, honey, are you okay? You look like you're going to pass out." Sally questioned her voice dripping with concern. He couldn't let her be worried about him though. He wasn't the one with the baby in their stomach.

"Yeah, Sally I'm okay, just a little tired. I had to grade a bunch of tests and didn't go to sleep until really late." He lied. Paul hated lying to her. It made him sick to his stomach.

"Oh, okay. But, if you need to talk about something I'll always be here, you know." Sally replied. Paul could tell she knew he was lying but as always, she didn't press him to find out. He loved her for that.

"Uhh Hunhh. You too." He said casually as his mind drifted back to Sally's son.
