I hate that question.
What if?
It raises doubts and worries that don't exist with us, in the now!
What if?
What if I never met you?
Would I still be lost and alone?
What if you hadn't been there when I needed you the most?
What if you had never seen me cry? Or at least try to?
What if you hadn't loved me?
Because, I'm pretty sure I have loved you my entire life, and it is that 'what if' that frightens me the most, with a few others.
Like:
"What if you stopped loving me?
"What if you grew irritated with me?
"What if you forgot about me?"
It doesn't matter though. 'What if's aren't the 'right now's. And I like the 'right now's better then the 'what if's.
Because, 'right now' you are in my arms and you love me, I love you, and all is right with the world. Right now.
