It was all over. The war with Gaea had been won, and things had been pretty normal for the seven main demigods of the prophecy. Well, as normal as someone who was half-god could have things.
Until they fell into a random girl's bedroom with no idea how they got there.
Percy was the first to speak. "What in Hades just happened?" he asked, looking around.
"Hi! I'm curligurl0896. And, to answer your question, I brought you here," answered a blonde girl in the corner.
Everyone turned to look at her. "Why'd you bring us here?" Hazel asked. "And how?"
"How?" The girl who called herself curligurl0896 said. "Well, it's actually quite simple. You guys are figments of Rick Riordan's wonderful imagination. And, I, a fanfiction author, have "borrowed" you guys, because I'm not Rick Riordan and so therefore I do not own the rights to claim your creation. Anyway, back to the point: you're in my imagination."
"Your imagination?" Jason asked, looking at her strangely.
"Yep, and the person you're seeing is not the real me," curligurl0896 added cheerfully. "What you're seeing is just an imaginary version of myself, which can change very easily. The real me is in a tiny apartment, munching on popcorn and recording everything as we speak"
"Like a hologram," Annabeth stated.
"Sort of," curligurl0896 agreed.
"I don't know how this is simple," Percy complained. "Thinking about it makes my head hurt."
"I'm with you, bro," Leo added.
"What about why you brought us here?" Piper asked.
"Oh yeah, about that…. Well, I brought you here to read these," she replied, holding up a stack of books.
"We're dyslexic, though," Jason pointed out.
"Except for me, I'm just lactose intolerant," Frank chimed in.
"Well, that's already fixed! I made sure they were in Greek and Latin first. You didn't think I would be that dumb, would you?" curligurl0896 asked. When no one answered, she said, "Good, then, let's start reading." She handed out the books, making sure the Greeks got the Greek books and the Romans got the Latin books.
"Wait," Percy said as soon as he saw the cover. "This is my story. We're not actually reading about my life, are we?"
curligurl0896 shook her head, while Annabeth rolled her eyes. "Seaweed brain," Annabeth muttered. "She just said we were going to read the books."
"But it's embarrassing!" Percy protested.
"Dude, from what I heard, it can't be that bad,' Leo told him.
"Besides, we're not leaving until we finish the series," curligurl0896 added. "Both series. So might as well get started. I'll read first." And then she opened the book and began reading.
