Fionna P.O.V

'Ugh this is so boring.' I said to myself while laying back in the snow. Cake couldn't be here because she was with Lord M. PG can't be here because he was with his science buddies. The last person I would want to hang out with is LSP.

There was nothing bad going on. No monsters. Surprisingly the Ice Queen wasn't up to anything. You'd think she would be considering this was her season. I looked up at the sky, it was dark and cloudy. Like rainstorm kind of dark and cloudy. I liked it personally. It was kind of soothing…in a way.

'I honestly don't know how people can wear skirts or shorts in Winter weather especially in like 8in of snow.' I closed my eyes imagining what Summer would feel like. I had to laugh a bit to myself. 'The exact opposite duh Fionna.' I suddenly felt the snowflakes stop gently hitting my face. I opened my eyes to see the one and only Vampire King.

"Hey Fionna." Marshall said floating above me.

"Oh hey Marshall, what's up?" I asked.

"Eh nothing really" He replied floating down beside me. "You look cold."

"I'm not that cold" I scoffed. But of course I was wearing my usual clothing but only added a scarf. I lied I was freezing but I was too numb to even get up.

"Fionna, Fionna, Fionna" Marshall said mostly to himself while picking me up.

"HEY! MARSHALL I WAS TOTALLY WARM BACK THERE" I yelled at him as we rose farther into the sky.

"Stop yelling at me or I'll drop you then you'll be dead" Marshall warned.

"You'd never do it" I told him crossing my arms.

"Oh?" He said raising an eyebrow. "What makes you say that?"

"The fact that I know you like me and if you dropped me it would be in a playful kind of way so I have no need to worry" I stated matter of factly.

"You think I wouldn't drop you? Really?"

"Yes I know. Very well actually" But before I could say anything else I couldn't feel Marshall's arms around me anymore. I started falling at a fast rate. While doing so I saw Marshall laying on his side in the air where he had dropped me; his right arm supporting his head and his left foot over his right, grinning all the while.

"What do you think now Fionna the human, Adventuress of Aaa?"

I was seriously panicking. "MARSHALL LEE!" I looked up and he wasn't there anymore. 'He's probably below me getting ready to catch me' I thought.

Indeed he was below me but he didn't catch me. I fell right past him. Then I finally felt him catch me.

"Now you can't just assume things. I might not be the guy you think I am Fionna."

I stuck out my tongue, huffed, crossed my arms and laid my head against his chest. I then drifted off to sleep.
