MCGEE'S POINT OF VIEW

FORENSIC SPECIALIST ABBY SCIUTO...

What can I say?

I have loved her from the moment I laid eyes on her, but due to rule 12 that our boss Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs has. It says:

Never date a co-worker.

Well, I don't know what to say about it. I love her, but as long as I'm working at NCIS...

I can never date Abby.

We dated before and at one time I told her, 'I really liked you' and asked her, 'Where do you think our relationship was going?' she asked me, 'Why do things have to change? Why can't we just enjoy things the way they are?'

That's not what I was hoping for. Later when we talked she accused me of being insecure. Since I started working as agent under Gibbs, I see her a lot. Now we're best friends, but we flirt and joke around. I have been jealous of her boyfriends and she figures it out.

There have been times I almost lost her and we've almost lost each other, every time it has scared me.

There was time that a car almost killed her...I was sitting right there, but didn't hear her. Later after we were left alone, I told her again how sorry I was. We talked and then she wrapped her arms around me from behind...

'I thought you had to ask permission first.' I told her.' 'Never with you, Tim.' She had replied me and I squeezed her hand.

It felt good and I never wanted her to let go. Whenever things get to be too much in the squad room...

I just go down to Abby's lab...I like the peace of being there, near her. I love everything about her:

She's smart and very good at her work

Her smile when we figure things out

She has kissed me a couple of times and I have kissed her a few times to

Her hugs

The way we're always there for each other

There have been a few times she's been upset and I was there.

We are all protective of her, but know she can take care of herself as she has proven. Gibbs is very protective of her, even more then the rest of us.

I don't know what I would do without her in my life, because like I already said...

I love her.
