Harry's P.O.V
I walk up to the platform and see a blur of memories in my mind. It was many years ago, but it feels like just yesterday I was hopping on my first train to Hogwarts. Hopping on that train, just like James and Albus were about to do. I feel something squeeze my leg and look down to see my younger boy, Albus, who was looking worried. Seeing as it was James's second year and he already knew how to board the train, I told him to run along and that I'd catch up with him later. I stopped walking and looked down at my other son. He was a spitting image of me, except he had his mother's eyes.
I faced him and kneeled down to his level.
-Albus, what's troubling you? You're not your usual self.
-I just don't want to let anyone down... What if I end up in Slytherin? He asked worriedly.
-Disappoint anyone? Impossible. You were named after two of the best headmasters Hogwarts has ever seen. One of them was a member of Slytherin. It all depends on your values. Remember, where you are sorted does not determine who you are. Even if you'd end up going down the darkest of paths, you only have to find that bright light to guide you back.
- But Dad, I don't get it... What if I can't see a light and what does this have to do with Slytherin?
-Remember, the light is in your heart, no house; no wrong choice can change that. You will forever remain who you are: a good person.
I placed his luggage on the train and gave him a hug.
-You'll be back sooner than you know it. Always remember that I love you.
-I love you too Dad.
I then went to see James off and wish him goodbye.
At the same time, Albus was climbing onto the train, his future before him. Not knowing just how complex it was going to turn out to be.
