The pub was damp and dark. Evil was scattered everywhere. The yells
and crashing of people fighting filled the air. Many people were gambling
and all wicked. But one creature, stood out from them all.
"I'll take some more milk if you would please," hissed an eerie voice, "And step on it." In a chair at the front of the counter, a large boot tapped down on the polished mahogany counter.
"Please, sir, stop doing that," begged a voice sounding much like a man's. The speaker had dark brown hair that was pulled back into a braid, making her look like a man, and the ugly mole on her face didn't help much either.
The boot stopped tapping and a sinister hiss came from the owner. He pulled a thin sword from the sheath strapped around his furry belly.
"You do know who I am, right?" he growled with a strong Mexican accent, "I am-"he carved a jagged "P" on the counter with his sword, "Puss!" he paused a moment and added, "In Boots."
"Yeah whatever," the ugly woman replied, obviously annoyed, "Just pay the bill." She pushed a small piece of paper toward him.
"Huzzah!" Puss In Boots yelled, jumping to his feet, "I pay no bills!" He jumped down and ran out the door, his cape flowing behind him. His yellow-green eyes were silted as he walked through the forest towards Far Far Away.
