AN: HI! This is a new story that just popped into my head when I was practicing volleyball in my front yard! Enjoy! Luvs ya! -jess

I drove up to Fork's High School in my Nissan Altima, everyone in the parking lot staring at me. Mostly boys. I hated boys. I got out of my truck, and a few people mumbled unintelligible welcomes.

I walked into my new school, and a boy with short brown hair was staring at me… weird. I was so tired of guys staring at me like I was something to eat! GOD! Did all guys have to be such pigs?! Ugh!

Well, no matter. I was not going to let these stupid boys ruin my first day at my new school!

So I walked into the front office with my head held high, and right up to the red-headed receptionist.

"Hi! I'm Bella Swan. I'm new here, and-" I started to say, but was cut off, as the realization struck her.

"Oh! Hello, dear! I know who you are. I'm Mrs. Cope. Here are your schedule, and forms for your father to sign…" She trailed off, as she reached into a drawer and pulled out a small stack of papers that said "Isabella Swan" in big letters on the front, and handed me the papers.

"Thanks." I said before scurrying towards the door.

"Wait!" Mrs. Cope called me back to her. "You need to get your teachers to sign this, and turn it into me at the end of the day." She told me, and with a motherly smile, and a "Have a nice day!" I was out of the office and practically sprinting to my homeroom.

I was in such a hurry I forgot to watch were I was going. Factor that in with the fact that I am a level 5 klutz, and there was sure to be an accident… And there was! I fell in the middle of the hall. But as I braced myself for the impact I felt strong arms grip my waist, to catch me.

Well, apparently, my luck took not only me, but, also, an incredibly handsome boy down with me.

I was giggling on the ground, and the boy beside me was chuckling back. His laugh so velvety smooth I had to pinch myself to make sure I was not still asleep. Ouch! Nope! I wasn't dreaming!

The boy sat up, and extended his hand out to me to help me up, and that's when I remembered that He was a teenage boy, and teenage boys were all the same, with the same thing on their minds. Helping me up was the way boy #3 had gotten me to like him- to believe that He was a gentleman. But He wasn't He was as bad as all the others. Stupid guys!

So I ignored his hand, and struggled to get up on my own.

"Hello. I'm Edward Cullen." He introduced himself, showing off a set of beautiful white teeth in the most glorious smile I had seen on a human's face. And then He stuck his hand out for me to shake. Just like boy #7. He was just like everyone else… Just a lot more handsome!
