LoL, I suddenly thought of this while listening to lecture in class today so hope you guys enjoy reading! Btw, I have an inkling idea of what the direction of the story will be going in, but it'll take me a while to get there...*smiles nervously* Anyways I know it's not much, but please review ^_^
"Avada Kedavra!"
"Nooooooooooooooooooo…!" cried Draco rushing forth to catch his falling father, he let out a wretched sobbed that contained the depth of his sadness as he slowly turned over the limp figure in his shaking arms. He cried harder when he realized all that stared back at him were soulless eyes.
Shooting a vengeful glare at the murderer he cried, "Why? My Lord…he was…al—ways…always so— lo—loyal to you…" anger and terror laced his uneven words.
"Wake up my boy, your father was a useless coward, he's better off dead than alive," rasped the cruel voice belonging to none other than the darkest wizard of all time.
"Crucio!"
Draco let out a yelp as he was forced to let go of his father's body which slumped lifelessly to the floor. He flew backwards colliding into the concrete wall behind him and toppled over to the floor writhing in pain. A choked whimper escaped his lips as the spell continued to hold.
"How dare you look at me with such pitiful eyes," Voldemort said as he approached the boy still buckled over in pain. He knelt down with a grand sweep of his robe and caressed the boy's sweaty face.
Draco trembled even more as the pain intensified through contact with the clammy hands of death. He bit his lips to stop the cries from escaping his mouth; he was a Malfoy after all, in situations like this he could be left with nothing, but at the very least his pride will still be intact.
Voldemort chuckled darkly at the quietly struggling boy, "You appear to have more backbone than your father, perhaps you will prove more useful to me than he ever did."
He left, releasing the boy from the spell who immediately fell into a nightmarish slumber.
"I will take Lucius' body, if you want the ashes you will have to be obedient and prove your loyalty to me beyond a doubt," the man's whisper echoed eerily throughout the cold dark chamber, as the elder Malfoy's body began to disintegrate into the air under invisible magic.
