The sleepy blonde woke to the sound of his alarm clock, blaring the early morning. He turned back over, having shut off the alarm clock. He knew that very soon, his younger brother Alphonse would be up to wake him. Tried as true, his younger, almond haired and blue eyed brother burst through his door."Brother wake up, it's time for school!" called Alphonse Elric excitedly. The boy was already half dressed in khaki pants and a halfway buttoned shirt. His blonde brother Edward Elric, turned over and glared at his brother with golden eyes. "Come on Al…" he said, propping himself up on his elbows." Gimmie five more minutes…" he mumbled, his eyes heavy from lack of sleep." Well than fine." Retorted Al. "But if all the bacons gone by the time you're downstairs, don't be surprised." That jolted the blonde out of bed as his younger brother left the room. After a few minutes of hurried dressing, The older brother left the room, smoothing the scarlet tie he was wearing. The central private school he attended had their kids in uniform, a navy blue jacket, a red tie had their kids in uniform, a navy blue jacket, red tie, a white button down shirt and khaki bottoms. Ed went down the stairs to see his mother, Trisha, serving eggs, bacon and toast to Al, and their childhood friend, Winry Rockbell. "Hey sleepyhead!" She called to Ed. Who was running his hands through his hair, and tying a hair band around it.
He scowled at Winry, who was happily chucking her food. "Aren't you supposed to be at your own house with granny Pinako, grease monkey?" He griped, glaring at the other blonde on his opposite side. Al sweatdroped as his older brother was hit in head with a wrench, and quietly drank his milk while the two argued until Trisha separated them. The three walked out the house, and talked all the way to the train station. Edward looked out the window as he pressed his right hand to the window, savoring the suns warmth as the sky awaked to a new morning.
"Brother."
The Fullmetal Alchemist woke from his dream. Edward grimaced, and wiped the drool from the side of his mouth. He had fallen asleep on the train to resembool. Turning to his brother, Ed asked Al, "How many more hours? " " only three. " said Al. "Good , we can get granny just in time for breakfast. " Replied the blonde Alchemist, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "What dream were you having brother?" Asked the suit of armor. "You were smiling." Ed looked out the window, savoring the suns warmth even through his automail. "Nothing Al." he said.
"It was just a pipe dream."

YAY! My first fanfic!
I always wanted to write a fanfic with Ed, Al, and Winry in modern day circumstances, so volia! This was made to cheer me up after a rather saddening day. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as enjoyed writing it, and expect more stories from me, most definitely.
Please come to the reviewing side. We have cookies, milk and tea.
