Natsu was never the one for romance. Sure, we held hands, said we loved each other, but he was dense too. When I was ready to take it to the next level, he just got confused and called me weird!
And on our first date: Dinner at the guild. He didn't even walk me home! But still I knew...he was new to this. But Cana or Mirajane could've given him lessons in the love life...right?
Second date: We went out to eat at a fancy restaurant. The food was nice, but he forgot his wallet so I had to pay 500 j for a meal. 500!
Today was our third date. I was happy, though. No Happy this time. We were just staying at my apartment, watching a the romantic movie 'Safe Haven' (that movie is awesome!) , and a walk.
Before Natsu got here, I popped some popcorn, got some soda, and waited for him to arrive.
He was right on time. I opened the door to find a surprise. He was holding my favorite flowers: Yellow Tulips. He had his signature smile on.
"Hey Luce!" He said, holding out the flowers for me. I took them, smiled, and said "How did you know?" walking in, him following.
I filled up a vase with water, and put them in.
He blushed and said,
"I asked you on our first date." Why was he acting so flushed and nervous?
The movie was great, with a heart touching moment at the end. I even teared up a little, while Natsu kept on fidgeting and plaything with something in his pocket. Finally he blurted out
"Wanna go on a walk now?" He looked at me intensely. I was surprised at his outburst, but agreed.
He took me to the guild first, and said that the day he met me his life changed forever. He never said anything so sweet, so I melted. Then it was to the Cherry Blossom park. He led me to a tree that was in the middle of nowhere.
I looked up at the sky, and saw a shooting star. It was beautiful: like a diamond on a wedding ring...I looked to Natsu again when the star touched the earth.
He was on kneeling, holding the star in a little black velvet box.
"Lucy Heartfilia, your are the weirdest person I've ever met, and most beautiful. Now would you do the extraordinary honor of marrying me?" He asked, determination in his deep voice. My hands flew to my mouth when the tears started to swell up.
I wanted to saw something cheesy, and very romantic: But I simply said "Yes."
I was half asleep when I wrote this, and bored. I think I failed…..but! I still have homework to do, along with writing two new chapters for Falling for a Gangster and Boxing With Love….I might have to stay up late to do so. Leave a review to let my know what you thought about it!
