A/N: Another silly oneshot. I'm way too obsessed, writing these things in the middle of the night. yawnes yeah, not healthy. Anyway, here comes... Persuasion
Her apartment had always been neat.
Well, she at least tried to keep things organized, and usually succeeded. She wasn't a clean freak or something, she didn't mind when things were a little messy, but she liked coming back to a tidy apartment. When she had agreed to move in with Danny, she knew things would not always be as neat as she'd like, but she could live with that. After all, she loved Danny for who he was, including his – very few – flaws, and if being sloppy was one of them, so what? She was okay with that.
Some days, though…
"Danny!" she called, before sighing deeply. She had walked into the bathroom; wanting nothing more than a nice hot shower as a reward for her long shift, when she'd almost slipped over one of Danny's boxers. Looking down, she discovered the piece of clothing was just one of many, as the whole floor was covered in T-shirts, pants, wife beaters and socks. There lay even a tie.
Danny's head appeared in the door opening, a slightly uncertain look on his face. When his girlfriend said his name like that, she was usually annoyed or mad. Looking at her, he quickly found out it was the former and sighed relieved. Annoyance he could handle.
"What's wrong, honey?" he asked sweetly, now stepping into the room as well.
She tiredly gestured towards the floor. "What are all those clothes doing there?"
"They are just laying there," he quipped, but seeing her face, he decided giving her a real answer would be a good idea. He rubbed the back of his head. "I showered."
If she hadn't been so tired and annoyed, Lindsay surely would've laughed. "And you didn't put them back into the closet why?"
"Because I was too lazy," he said, grinning. "You don't mind, do you?" he teased.
"Yes, I do!" she said, a hint of a smile tugging the corners of her lips upwards. Ah, damn him for making her laugh, she was still annoyed.
"No you don't," he countered, stepping closer to her.
"I do. Why wouldn't I mind? I'm finally home from a very exhausting shift, and I just want to be able to shower without breaking a bone because of your mess! So, yes, I do mind," she said, thinking she'd won the argument now.
"You don't mind, because you loooooovveee me," Danny sang.
She couldn't help but giggle. "Yes, I looooooove you," she sang back, "but I still mind."
"No you don't," Danny said quickly, before pulling her towards him and kissing her deeply, making her forget everything. When he pulled away, she was completely brainwashed, and she smiled sweetly.
"No I don't."
