Author's note:

This is my take on the surprised twist ending of the recent Fairly Oddparents TV movie entitled: A Fairly Odd Summer. So SPOILERS For those that haven't seen the movie yet as it is told from the view points of Wanda, Timmy, Poof and Cosmo respectively.

Wanda

It was a miracle…a truly magical miracle…her god son, the boy with the pink hat that conquered various odds to save the day and/or fix his mistakes, was alive. He was alive and a….a…a fairy and actual flying fairy.

In all of her years of being a godmother, she never expected something like this to happen…never.

He was finally one of them, a fairy. Sure before he was able to wish himself to be a fairy once or twice, but never become and actual fairy.

This would surely change things. She can feel it in her newly restored wings, that this was the start of something new. And it was all due to the power of the Abracadabium, it magic granted her god son his fondest wish of all.

Timmy

A fairy….he was actually a flying fairy. He been exposed to a variety of magic over the years, but never anything like this.

Yet…it felt familiar and also different in the same way. He knew this would make his relationship with Tootie change a bit, but hopefully they could work it out.

Still, a fairy…an actual fairy. He can never lose his godparents again, because now he was at last one of them.

Poof

Brother change…..brother floating now. Floating like mamma and daddy and Poof.

Brother got wand, like mamma and Daddy. Brother can do magic like Poof.

Foop hurt Brother, Hurt Tootie, hurt Crocker, Hurt Mamma, Hurt Daddy and Hurt Poof.

Foop's a poopy head.

Cosmo

Wow…look at the new floating guy….he kind of looks like former godkid. Then his wife told him that the floating guy IS their former godkid Then he gave his eyes a squint and saw that it was his former godchild, although he didn't look like a godchild anymore…he looked like a fairy. Just like him. Well then, this is going to so spice things up back home.

Author's Note: I know the story is brief but I couldn't think of anything more. In my personal opinion, I felt that the TV Movie, A Fairly Odd Summer kept in tone with the overall concept of Timmy's love for his godparents and God brother and willingness to protect those he care about like Tootie and his parents. It also illustrates concept Timmy's selfishness and wiling to do what's right and to make those around him happy and keep them safe.

My opinion maybe one of many, but I hope that this ideal tale gives you an insight on what's I think is Butch Hartman's great work on such a wonderful animated series. I mean throughout it all, you could truly tell that Mr. Hartman loved this series to the very end.

I hope you enjoy it and please review if you did like it.
