A light in his eyes; warm, not cold. The lifting of a corner of his lips; not a sneer, but a genuine smile. A softening of his hard features? Most definitely. Yes, there were certainly a few things about his expression that Katsuya had never seen before.

Undetected, he observed Kaiba silently from a short distance away - the other was ruffling his little brother's hair affectionately as the younger boy beamed up at him, eyes wide.

Kaiba paused, hand still resting on the mop of unruly black hair. Mokuba ducked out from underneath, laughing as he reached up to tug at it and pull him away home for the first time in weeks. This was a side of Kaiba never seen, carefree, happy, somehow intimate.

Katsuya had never seen this side of Kaiba before. But he liked it.
