A/N: Yepp. So, this is the second story in OMGMusic...and I really like it! I'm kinda liking nature!Ron, it's pretty funny. And I'm loving this song. Well, I have been since I was little, but anyways...a disclaimer.

DISCLAIMER...I don't own no Harry Potter. Nor do I own The Cure's song 'Close to Me'. You all know what they belong to, so I don't even have to say it.

Happy Reading!

Close to Me

I've waited hours for this.
I've made myself so sick
I wish I'd stayed asleep today.
I never thought this day would end;
I never thought tonight could ever be
This close to me.

But if i had your face
then i could make it safe and clean.

If only i was sure

That my head on the door was a dream.

"I love autum," Ron said, laying down in the big pile of leaves in the courtyard. Harry rose an eyebrow and smiled.

"Really now? I didn't know this at all." Ron just rolled in the leaves, smiling.

"Yeah," he mumbled, not hearing the sarcasam dripping from Harry's sentence. "It's not quite winter, but it's definitely not summer…it's perfect!"

"I'm sure it is," Harry said, sitting next to the now leaf covered Ron. Ron smiled and looked up at the cloudy sky.

"I like cloudy days too," he commented. Harry laughed, saying, "You're just a big ball of light, aren't you?"

"Shut it," Ron said, glancing at Harry, who was smiling. "I just don't like the sun and how it's all bright."

"Right," Harry started, leaning back, "So I'm guessing you like night better than day, then?" Ron just nodded, still staring at the clouds and mumbling about the clouds' shapes.

Suddenly, Ron looked down at himself. "I'm covered with leaves!"

"Really?" Harry said, smirking. Ron threw a handful of leaves at Harry, who gave him a dark look. Ron started to brush leaves from his body, even standing up to get the ones on his back. Harry stood up too, saying, "It's almost time to go back inside."

Ron looked at him. "I know. I don't wanna though…did I get all of the leaves off?"

Harry nodded. As they walked back to the castle, Harry looked up at Ron, and then stopped him. "You have a few leaves in your hair."

Ron groaned, shaking his head. "Are they still in there?"

"Yeah. Here, let me," Harry said, reaching up to brush the leaves out of his hair. Ron stiffened though, and Harry stopped, until Ron moved closer to him and said, "Go ahead."

Harry picked the small brown leaves out of the flaming hair. Ron smiled awkwardly after Harry was done. "Thanks," he said. They stared at each other for a few seconds, until Harry said, "We are standing awkwardly close."

"Yeah," Ron breathed. "I know." His face came closer to his friends, and Harry tilted his head slightly as their lips met. Everything fell away as they kissed. It was only them.

After what felt like years, they broke apart. Harry's eyes were still closed, but Ron's were open and smiling. When Harry opened his eyes, he said, "That was…nice."

"I feel the same," Ron blurted, lauging. "It was a random kiss though, huh?"

"Yeah," Harry said, smiling. "But I wouldn't have it any other way."
