Lynn's Nightmare
Lynn sees herself giving her knocked out brother a toothy smile before taking a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire to him. She tries to tell Dream Lynn to stop, but her voice makes no sound at all, after Lincoln is bleeding and broken, Dream Lynn starts violently raping him, enough so as to wake him up, "Lynn no, no Lynn, please" Lincoln utters, but he receives a hit to the face with the bat.
Lynn screams
"Lynn what's wrong?" Lucy asks
"I-I had a nightmare" Lynn responds
"Care to talk about it?" Lucy asks back
"N-no Lucy, I'm ok" Lynn answers "I have to use the bathroom though"
"I didn't need to know that, but alright Lynn" Lucy says back
Lynn peers into her brother's room, the door is slightly ajar, she sees that he's fine. She ventures in, and shakes him awake gently.
"Lincoln, can you wake up for me bro," Lynn whispers "I have to talk to you"
"Lynn, what are you doing in here, can't you see what time it is?" Lincoln responds sleepily
"I-I know. But I had a nightmare, about hurting you, and I just need to know, that you know, I would never, ever hurt you in the ways that dream version of me hurt you, and that I love you" Lynn responds shakily
"Lynn, lay down, you can sleep here if you want, just as long as you sleep" Lincoln responds
"I need to hear you say it" Lynn says bluntly
"I know you would never hurt me Lynn, now please, just sleep" he answers
"I-I don't know if I can Linc" she says
"Need, like a hug or something? Seriously Lynn, I've never seen you this scared before." Linc says
"That's because I've never thought about hurting you in any way, maybe that's it, I just couldn't live with myself if I hurt you" Lynn reflects
"That's sweet Lynn, I love you so much." Lincoln says
"Huh?" Lynn says, shocked
"I love you Lynn, as in, I care about you" Lincoln responds
"Oh, oh, sorry" Lynn says, shaken
"Lynn, was it that kind of dream?" Lincoln questions
"Well, kinda. But it wasn't mutual" Lynn answers
"Wait, Lynn. Did-Did I do something to you in your dream? I want you to know I would never do anything malicious to you!" says Lincoln
"No, No, I hurt you emotionally, and physically, and I don't know why I would ever dream that" Lynn reassures
"Maybe talking about it might help" Lincoln pitches
"I guess. Well, here goes nothing, so, I saw a version of me giving you a creepy grin before pounding you with a baseball bat covered in barbed wire, then, Dream Me forced herself onto you and-" Lynn stops, tears in her eyes
"That's enough Lynn, I-I've heard enough. I'm really sorry that, that happened to you" Lincoln responds
"Don't be, I-I need to figure out why I would have that dream though" Lynn says, contemplating her options
Lincoln embraces Lynn, in the most caring embrace Lynn has ever felt
"It's ok Lynn, I'm right here with you" Lincoln reassures
"Thank you bro" Lynn says sleepily
"Anytime, sis. Anytime." he says before they both drift off
