A/n: It's been so long since I've wrote let's see if I remember how to do this. I was in a writing mood this is kinda sad I admit you decide if I should go on. I'm trying something different and writing in present tense it's strangely intensifying I hope you enjoy this. Just try and guess who it is! It's pretty obvious!

If Tomorrow You Are Gone

It's a dark morning. No starlight meets the dawning day, and clouds shadow the awakening sun. A man emerges from a dim lit capsule. His eyes are down cast as he drags his weary body to a larger compound. How his soul etches pain that would never be shown, but in the darkness of the morning there is none to hide is facade from. The sun peaks through the mountaintops and glides gently to greet his face, he quickly turns away. It is officially his first morning without her.

His children awaken late which he is grateful for. Their mother's quiet passing in the night is still unknown to them. They meet him with smiling faces and cheerful hearts, how bittersweet this moment lasts. "Father how is Mommy feeling this morning?" the young boy asks, "she wasn't looking so well last night." The man cannot answer the boy he only gives him a cold look and lifts the crawling babe at his feet to her high chair. The boy demeanor turns awkward. The man knows the boy senses something. "Father, Mom is sleeping more easy now, huh?" The man straightens. "Yes." he whispers. Sleeping more easy.
