Cat skipped happily over to Robbie who standing next to his locker.
"Hey Robbie," she said, giggling. Robbie felt his palms go sweaty as he seen the tiny yet beautiful red haired girl.
"Oh um hey Cat!" He answered her. Cat started smiling and playing with the giraffe she was clutching. She pressed it's belly and it let out a sound. She laughed.
"Robbie, isn't Mr Long Neck so weird?" Cat laughed.
"So very weird." Robbie said, glaring at the giraffe. He pursed his lips as he'd forgot what he was going to ask Cat.
"So Cat, wanna hang out today?" He said quickly. Cat pushed her hair behind her ear and looked up at Robbie.
"Oh, well ok! We can go to build a giraffe, right?" She asked him as they started walking to their next class.
"Sure, why not?" He smiled as she skipped away ahead of him.
"I'll pick you up at 4!" He shouted after her.
"Kaykay!" She yelled. Robbie couldn't wait, maybe this was his chance to tell Cat how he truly felt.
Cat was getting ready at her house before her 'date' with Robbie. They were going to build-a-giraffe! Yay, Cat thought. She dressed in her blue and pink giraffe t-shirt, black leggings and silver flat ballet shoes. Her hair was pulled behind her in a pony-tail, with her pink flower headband on. She put very little make-up on as she remember Robbie once saying how she looked prettier that way. She really liked Robbie, and the only person who knew was Beck. Why Beck? You may ask. Well they were both at Jade's house once, and whilst Jade was arguing with her 'idiot neighbour', Beck had noticed Cat changing her password to 'robbieshapiro'. He'd known ever since, but Cat begged him not to tell anyone, and how could you say no to her big brown eyes?
Cat's doorbell rang. She giggled and opened it quickly.
"Hello little cutie!" Robbie said, happily.
"Oh Robbie, you're in such a good mood!" Cat laughed, stepping outside with him. She skipped down her driveway, and since build-a-giraffe was only down her street, they decided to walk. They talked about what type of giraffe they wanted. Cat wanted a yellow one this time, where Robbie wanted blue. Once they arrived, Cat squealed at the amount of giraffes. They got a few odd looks from mothers with children, but other than that they had an amazing time.
Cat bought a yellow one, wearing a bright pink tutu skirt and spotty green and red socks. She named him Mr Cookie. Robbie got his blue one, it wore black sunglasses and was named Dude. Cat named him.
"Oh Robbie, wasn't today fun?" She said, skipping around her room. Robbie sat spinning on her chair, she called it her 'whirl chair'.
"Sure was, kitty cat!" He replied. What had he been so worried about? Hanging out with Cat was easy as pie, he thought.. She walked over to him and started spinning the chair really fast. Robbie stood up, dizzy. Cat's laugh was the only thing making Robbie know where he was going. He ended up walking right into her and they both fell to the floor, laughing. When his vision became less blurry, he realised how close they were. They were inches away from each other, and she was looking straight into Robbie's eyes. She bit her lip, which made butterflies go off in his stomach. Cat leaned in, and pressed her lips to Robbie's. He could honestly say that it was probably the best experience of his life, and he kissed back, wanting to make the moment last. They both pulled away at the same time and started laughing.
"So does this mean you're my girlfriend?" Robbie asked Cat. She smiled, widely.
"I guess so, boyfriend."
