"NO, this can't be happening" I screamed. Destruction was all around me. The entire city was deserted not a single soul, animal or human could be found. Fire was burning the rest of the buildings that had been still standing. Buildings had collapsed in the streets making it hard to travel them. The guild was a huge gaping hole in the ground. Bodies strewed everywhere. All our friends were dead, strewn all over the ground missing limbs and laying in their own puddles of blood.

"Lucy! Natsu! Master" I cried out. Tears were running down my face. I fell down onto the ground scraping my knees as I fell onto them. I ignored the pain it didn't hurt nearly as much as the grief did.

"Why! Why did this have to happen" I screamed. Nothing answered my call all I could hear was the crackling of fire as it keep eating away at all old wooden destruction. No one was there to stop it this time.

I pounded my fist against the ground. My knuckles split as I kept punching the ground. The warm gooey blood was running between my fingers but I didn't stop. I finally collapsed onto the ground and curled into a fetal position. I was bawling my eyes out.

After being gone for a few years with my husband Romeo on a mission we had come back to this. We came back to the guild being destroyed by the etherion. We watched from the edge of town as the blinding light came down and destroyed the guild with everyone tied up inside. We watched the buildings collapsed and fires start.

A few minutes later Romeo came down next to me after I had stopped crying and scooped me up into his arms and cradled me. He planted a kiss on my forehead after my tears have stopped and I just layed in his arms limp and numb. I felt something wet fall onto my face. I looked up to see him silently crying. He was crying because his father had been killed in the attack.

"Come on Wendy" he whispered while drying off his face with his sleeved "Were going to go see someone". I silently not trusting myself to be able to answer. We walked away from the destruction or shoulders slumped in pure grief.
