He was strong- really strong.

It was true, he grew up every summer, but this one he exaggerated. His muscles were marked at his t-shirt, and every time Hermione placed her hands at his stomach, she felt a six pack.

She remembered what Harry had told him.

'If you weren't trying out for Keeper, mate, I'd choose you as Beater. You would hit the ball and it would fly out and score a goal, even from half the court.'

He was the strongest 18 year old guy she knew. He had been the strongest one on their sixth grade, and he would've been in seventh if he had gone back with her to Hogwarts.

This was one of the main reasons the guys that fancied Hermione would just look and not touch. Because Ron was so intimidating. He tended to place his strong arms around her petite waist and glared furiously at any guy who eyed her up.

Everytime she spent summers at the Weasleys', ever since 5th grade, she checked him out, most usually when he was degnoming the garden. He used to take his shirt off, and Hermione had to grab onto something so she wouldn't collapse.

And now that he was finally hers, it was glory. Glory because every time he'd end degnoming, he would come over and hugged her teasingly. She laughed and tried to push him away, saying that he was all sweaty and that it was gross, but she secretly loved it. She loved being held in his strong arms- she felt protected.

It was amazing how he was so strong on the outside, but so fragile in the inside. Hermione remembered how, when Fred died, Ron used to lock himself in his room, and her, being the only one that was allowed to come in(literally, thanks to a charm Ron had cast), was the only one that saw him cry.

Still, Ron was really, really strong. He could break broomsticks, kick balls really far, and crush stuff, and that's why it surprised Hermione how fragile he was with her. Every time he held her hand, he wrapped his fingers around hers really softly, and stroked her hand. When they hugged, he would grab her waist in a loving way, making sure not to press her to much into him, wanting not to hurt her. When they kissed, Ron was really gentle about his actions, like if he was afraid she could break.

Ron Weasley, her loving husband, was the strongest man she ever knew. And yet, the most fragile.

But none of that changed how much she loved him.
