Everyone said she wouldn't come back, and for a second he had believed them. But they were wrong.

Because she was standing right in front of him.

Her long, auburn locks whirled in the night's breeze. Her eyes were a fierce green. There was a long and deep scar on her cheek, souvenir from the war, he assumed. He stood there, silently taking her in. She has been gone for 17 years.

And finally, she was back.

"Robin..." She spoke his name, her voice barely a whisper. But he heard her, and his stomach twisted in emotions.

"Starfire..." he murmured. The girl with bloodshot color hair walked over to him, a small smile spreading across her face.

"I told you I would be back," she whispered.

Robin nodded very softly, and leaned in to her face. She closed her eyelids and Robin did exactly the same. Just as their lips brushed, everything went black.

A blue-eyed boy woke up, panting. He looked around crazily, scanning his room. Was it a dream? She was not back? Reality slapped him harder in the face than he thought it ever would.

He then heard a soft snore and snapped his head down. And there she was.

His angel.

His life.
