The smell of pollen circled the air flowing briskly between the two of us. The sun was beating down on our skin as the summer afternoon wore on. Rey stood a few paces in front of me, her lightsaber glowing bluer than the sky overhead. I watched as she swung it skillfully in circular motions at the wind, imagining any who crossed her path would have to beg for mercy less they be doomed for their life.

Watching her made every hair on my body erect, while goosebumps awoken from their silent slumber. The hottest day of the year was upon us, yet she managed to give me chills. "You're back!" She shouts as she flings her arms around my neck with so much force I stagger to regain my balance. "I was so focused on my training I didn't even notice you standing there!"

"I was only gone ten minutes" I laugh heartily before resting my eyes upon hers. "But I guess that's just to long now, is it not?"

She scrunches up her nose and gives me a giant teasing smile before planting a wet kiss on my lips. I cup her cheeks in my hands and pull her in deeply returning the affection.

The smell of dirt and sweat lingered on her cheeks as our tongues collided feverishly. She was perfect in any definition of the word and she was all mine. I break away from our kiss and rest my nose against hers, her chocolate eyes twinkling in the sunlight.

"I won't ever leave you, My sunshine" I whisper..
