Scooby-Doo and the others were driving in their van, the Mystery machine, heading towards Las Vegas, Nevada. They were only a mile away right now.
"Are we there yet?" Shaggy complained. He and Scooby were eating food in the back again.
Scooby shoved a whole sandwich in his mouth. "Reah."
"We're almost there, guys." Fred told them.
"Ray." Scooby mumbled, shoving a whole pizza down his throat now.
"You know what day today is, right?" Daphne asked.
"Yes, we know." Velma rolled her eyes.
"Harroween?" Scooby replied.
"Yep." Daphne grinned. "I heard that there's a haunted house with real ghosts here in Vegas. I thought we could check it out."
"Uh uh." Scooby shook his brown dog head. "Uh uh."
"Come on, Scoob." Shaggy urged. "You know they won't really be real."
"Would you come for a Scooby Snack?" Fred asked, holing one up, keeping his other hand on the wheel.
"Uh uh."
"Two?"
"Uh uh."
"Three?"
"Uh huh." Scooby nodded.
Fred tossed him the Scooby Snacks, which Scooby caught easily.
A couple minutes later, the gang arrived in Vegas. They had dinner and then found the haunted house. Getting out of the van, they walked up to the doors of the old house.
They went inside and the door closed behind them. There were no lights, so they stumbled through the darkness.
"Relp!" Scooby yelped.
"Like, Scooby-Doo, where are you?" Shaggy yelled after him.
There was no reply.
"Well, gang; we have a mystery on our hands." Fred declared.
"Do you think there really are g-g-ghosts?" Shaggy asked.
"No way." Fred replied. "Everyone knows they don't exist, Shaggy. I betcha Scooby is just playing around."
"I sure hope you're right." Velma responded.
"This place gives me the creeps." Daphne muttered.
"Couldn't agree more." Shaggy agreed.
A faint light began to seep into the long hallway from the left. The gang turned to look. They saw a ghost and it looked like Scooby!
"Creepers!" Daphne murmured.
"Oooooh, ooooh!" The ghost was obviously trying to scare them.
Instead, they ran towards it. It flew through an open doorway and seemingly disappeared. When the gang went in, they saw nothing.
"Anyone have a flashlight?" Fred asked.
"Like, not me, Freddy." Shaggy admitted.
"I do." Daphne replied.
"Thanks." Fred answered after receiving it.
Fred shone the beam around the room and lifted up a rug. There was a trapdoor under it. He opened it up.
"Let's see who's behind this." Fred declared.
The four humans walked down, Fred leading the way with the flashlight. After awhile, more light shone and he stopped.
"What is it, Freddy?" Velma asked.
"It's the ghost." He replied.
The others moved so that they could see. The whitish outline of the ghost stood there, facing the gang.
"If you wish to find your friend, forrow me!" It said, vanishing through another doorway.
They raced after it, but when they entered the next room, it was gone.
"Scooby-Doo!" Shaggy called.
"Over here!" The dog's reply came from a corner of the room.
They reached him and untied the ropes that bound him. A faint light entered the room and Scooby's face lit up with terror. "G-g-g-ghost!" He exclaimed. Everyone spun around to see the Scooby ghost standing before them. Shaggy ran towards it, jumping on top of it and knocking it to the ground. They tied the "ghost" up and found a light switch.
They ripped off the mask and exclaimed, "Frankenstein?!"
They tried to see if it was another mask. It was.
"Scrappy-Doo?!" The four humans exclaimed.
"Happy Harrowween!" Scooby laughed
"Scraggy Dooby Doo!"
