Don't Own Anything.
"Hey." G looked up to see Kensi looking at him, she nodded toward the paperwork, "Having fun?"
He shook his head, "No. What are you doing here?"
"Couldn't sleep, and I'm behind on paperwork. You?"
"Don't want to go home."
She smiled, "Do you even have a home? You're always moving around."
He shrugged, "I can't find a place that suits me."
"Why don't you stay with Sam?"
"I don't want to. So how are the mom and daughter doing?"
She sat down, "They'll be okay. How are you holding up?"
He raised his eyebrows, "I'm fine, why?"
"First day back and you were in two fights. Not to mention you came back early, doesn't that have some effect on you?"
"It does, but it's part of the job. How about you? The case was pretty tough."
She turned away and pretended to stare at something on the ground, "I failed."
He switched chairs so he was beside her, and put his hand on her shoulder, "Hey, it's not your fault Kensi. You couldn't have known it was the father."
She faced him, ''I still put you guys in danger."
"Not knowingly, and we got out of it. You're still my favorite agent."
She smirked, "Save that for Hetty, you don't need to butter me up for anything."
He put his arm around her, "She cares about all of us." He pressed a kiss to her forehead, "And so do I. Now go home and get some sleep."
She rested her head on his shoulder, "I will." She stood up, "Look, it isn't much, but I have a futon you can use and I'm not taking no for an answer, you shouldn't have to sleep here."
He nodded, "Yes ma'am, coming right way."
Kensi lightly swatted him, "Funny G. Now let's go."

G felt something hit the back of his head, it was pillow thrown by Kensi. He threw it back and it collided with her face, "What was that for?!"
He grinned, "You started it."
She moved closer and started to aim, "You continued it. And now it's payback!"
The pillow flew through the air and he caught it, "You're going to have to do better than that Kensi."
Another pillow hit him and soon pillows were going back and forth.
It was nice for both of them to just let loose, and G ducked behind a chair to avoid the pillows. She had disappeared, and he was moving to get some pillows when his mouth was covered and a hand came around his neck, "Got you."
He swiftly turned and pinned her to the ground, "Do you?"
"Obviously not. What were you looking at?"
He looked at her curiously and she smiled, "When I threw the pillow at you, what did you see through the window that was so interesting?"
He shrugged, "I was thinking. You're a good person Kensi."
She laughed, "Sure. Now will you get off me?"
"No." The smile remained on her face, "Why not?"
"I kind of like this position."
She shook her head, "You're ridiculous." Her expression turned serious, "Thanks."
"For what?"
She wrapped her arms around him, "For being there and helping me. You're a good friend."
He rolled over so she was on top of him, "You're welcome. And thank you for helping me, and offering your futon."
She moved off him and lay beside him, "No problem, now let's get the futon ready. If it isn't, you won't have a place to sleep."
"I could share with you."
She shot him a look, "You aren't funny."
He stood up, "Sorry." G offered his hand, "Coming?"
She took it, "Yeah."
***
Kensi noticed the time on the clock, "G? It's 12:00 a.m. We should get some sleep."
"Sure. See you in the morning Kensi."
She gave him a little wave. "Night."
He watched as she left the living room and placed his head on the pillow, five minutes later, he was asleep.
She came out half an hour later and pulled the covers over him, "Thanks G."
In his sleep he smiled a little.
Maybe it meant something, maybe it didn't.
Wrapping the robe tighter around her, she went to her room and fell asleep too.
