Joy and marvel filled her heart as she watched the young girl play with the little dancer. The beautiful music filled her ears as the girl spun in a circle before crying out to her mother that her little dancer had returned.
Tinkerbell felt on top of the world.
Her job was complete; and with the wonderful thought she began to fly off and join her fairy friends but she stopped.
A dark figure caught her eye.
It was the figure of a boy, slightly larger than the young girl who had been named 'Wendy' by her mother. He was standing on the roof opposite her, upon the house of Wendy, surrounded by shadows. He jumped down from the top of the roof and landed above the window of the room. The presence of said boy intrigued her to no end. She had the urge to fly over to the opposite roof and make some sort of contact with the boy.
"Tinkerbell!" She heard her named being called and tore her gaze away from the boy shrouded in shadows. Silvermist was waving for her to come and join her with all of the other fairies making their way back to Pixie Hollow. She looked back at the figure that was still there, but sitting on the window sill and gazing into the room. Tinkerbell knew the rules; you weren't allowed to make any contact with anything strange on the Mainland. So she went against her wishes and flew towards Silvermist and her fellow fairies.
