An ancient ship, the pride of Spain, embarked upon a quest

To navigate the ocean wide and still survive the test.

From China, Burma, Borneo came cargo of great price,

Silk tapestries and ivories and precious crates of spice.

The ship set sail, sailors cheered, together they would strive

To bravely steer across the sea and pray they would arrive.

And yet, alas, their ship was doomed by Lady Fate's cruel hand

So many lives and dreams were lost within the sight of land

A whirlpool drowned the ancient ship, battered, scarred and torn

Timbers smashed and sailors lost upon that dreadful morn

Today, the ship is safe at rest removed from ocean gales

And guarded by an ancient beast, so tell the whispered tales…

The treasure waits beneath the waves forever buried in the mire

For none are brave or foolish yet to face the creature's ire.

Until now…
