Whaling Song

Life upon our trawler,

Tis the only life we know.

Living for the moment,

When we hear "ar, there she blows!"

We scramble over to the port or starboard,

Or forward, or to the aft.

But the direction does not matter,

Cause we've seen a whale at last.

We grab harpoons, make ourselves ready,

We get into our boats.

A whale's still there to be hunted,

Least that's what we hope.

Towards the great beast of the depths,

With our oars we steer.

Come in range, throw our harpoons,

Our iron, it strikes clear.

We haul the beast back to our ship,

Its oil shall be ours.

Such is our life, upon the sea,

Beneath the sun and stars.

So we'll return to Dunwall,

Spend some time upon the shore.

Spend our gold on tits and wine,

And then head out to sea once more.

In light of how PETA reacted to the presence of whaling in Assassin's Creed IV, I'll make clear that I am not glorifying the practice here. I am, however, willing to work with it in a fictional setting and have fun doing it. :)
