AN-Spoilers for the season five finale, so don't read if you haven't seen the episode yet!

Daisy Wick slouched in the cushy airplane seat. She sighed as she stared out the window at the trees and streets which were slowly increasing in size. She and Dr. Brennan were on the flight home from Indonesia, and to be truthful, she was dreading going back to work at the Jeffersonian Institute, and was honestly debating on whether she should quit or not. She wasn't sure if she could take being around her ex-fiance. When he had told her not to wait for him, she had felt her heart break in two. It was as if the old Daisy, the hyper, happy, energetic, slightly obnoxious Daisy had stayed behind in Washington, and a dull, lifeless version had made the trip, and it had been obvious, even to Brennan. Daisy inwardly groaned as the loudspeaker came on overhead, telling everyone that they would be landing shortly, and to put their seats back in the upright position. Soon enough, the plane had landed and passengers were slowly and impatiently making their way to the exit. Daisy grabbed her carry-on backpack from the overhead compartment, and eventually made it off the plane. Brennan wasn't far behind, and exited soon after. About five minutes later Angela and Jack Hodgins came up to them, hand in hand, smiling cheerfully. They greeted Brennan with hugs and happiness. It was not long before a camouflage wearing Seeley Booth, just back from the army arrived to greet her as well. They were all talking and exchanging resent occurrences with each other. Daisy quietly slipped away from the group, and slowly made her way over to the baggage claim. She couldn't help but look for him, search the crowd for his face, even though she felt foolish doing so. She looked back at Brennan, who was hugging Booth quite tightly. A wave of loneliness washed over Daisy. It felt wrong to not have him here, greeting her happily, thrilled to see her again. She struggled to hold back tears as she waited for her suitcases.

The young psychologist hastily ran up the stairs of the airport. He hadn't planned on coming to greet her arrival, but he couldn't not. It had been 365 days too many of not seeing her. It had killed him to tell her that it was over. He couldn't even imagine what had possessed him to say that. Why didn't I go with her? He had asked himself everyday. This past year had been hell without her. He was almost scared to face her, the one he loved more than anything. Afraid she would hate him, just as he hated himself for saying goodbye. He pushed open the door of the airport, and began to search for where they would be. After a few minutes he spotted Brennan, Booth, Hodgins, and Angela all talking exuberantly. She was not with them. He then turned around, and saw her. She was standing at the end of the baggage claim, probably waiting for her luggage. He began to walk towards where she was. Walking with a purpose, determined to fix this. He needed her. More than anything.

Soon enough two bright pink with purple trim suitcases came around on the conveyor belt. Daisy picked them up and began to head towards where Dr. Brennan and the rest of the group were. They were too lost in conversation to even notice she had left. She just felt so...alone, so hollow without him. Tears fell down her cheeks. There's no way I can keep working at the Jeffersonian if this is how I feel every time I even think about him. She thought in misery. She heard footsteps approaching.

"Daisy?" A sweet, gentle voice said. She quickly brushed away her tears. She knew that voice, she knew that lovely, kind, wonderful voice. She looked up, and there he was.

AN-Thanks for reading! Sorry it's not very good, but I just recently saw the finale, and felt like I had to write something. This is basically what I hope happens with them in the season six premire. Reviews are awesome by the way. =)
