Title: Happy Endings

Summary: A small dabble on the lives of the team two years after the series finale. (Pairing: Nate/Laura (Sophie), Parker/Hardison.)

It'd been two years since Nate and Laura went their separate way leaving Parker in charge of their crusade to right the wrongs of the world. It was an unwinnable war. The moment they took down a corrupt CEO or Politian another one was waiting in line to take their place. Sometimes it stuck; but more times than not the same company with a different name behind it would pop back up on their radar soon enough. What made it all worth it were the people they helped.

As promised, Hardison turned Leverage into an international operation with teams scattered all across the world with new ones popping up each week. He also expanded their little operation by buying up safe houses across the city and adding a security system that was a direct link to both him and the main office should a problem arise with their client. Parker moved in to the room above their offices; eventually moving Hardison in with her. She took to being in charge well; although there were still times when they would have to step in to keep her from killing the mark, or getting too trigger happy with the explosives.

She even managed to find them a new grifter, Emily who also had some training as a thief when she was a teenager. She wasn't nearly as good as Parker but she could hold her own; and after some training with him she could even throw a decent punch. She adjusted to being a part of a team despite working alone for the majority of her career as a criminal. She still insisted on revealing as little information about herself as possible but she was slowly coming around.

As for Nate and Laura, they managed to stay out of the game despite everyone betting against it. They married soon after they left the team and after traveling the world for a few months they finally settled down in a small cottage in the country side of Ireland. They kept in touch when they could. Last he heard Laura was six months pregnant with their first child; a little girl which they planned to name Sophie. Nate was, of course, driving her crazy by over analyzing everything and she was driving him crazy by over analyzing him; but despite their complaints they both seemed like they had finally found their place in life; just like they had helped him find his.

A/N: I've had this idea stuck in my head for weeks. I wrote it quickly in between classes so I'm sorry for any grammatical errors I may have made and hope they weren't too distracting. I hope you enjoyed reading it.
