Astro was just walking through the forest at night, observing the woods. Suddenely, a girl accidently bumped into him. She had blue hair with silver edges. Astro couldn't quite make out her eye colour. But, the girl didn't stop, and kept running. Astro noticed that she dropped a bag.

"HEY, WAIT!" He exclaimed.

She stopped, but didn't turn back to ask why.

Astro ran to her and handed her the bag while saying, "You dropped this."

She took it and said in a soft voice, "Th-thankyou...sir..."

"Oh, don't call me sir. Im Astro Tenma. Who're you?"

"No one."

"Huh?"

"No one. I don't actually have a name. People call me Night."

"Why?"

"Because they see me only at night. I am cursed, so I get invisible at day."

"Then how do you communicate with your parents and friends?"

"I don't have any. I grew up on the streets."

"Oh...hey, then you can come with me! Im sure my dad will agree."

She froze.

"I...can?" She asked in a soft voice.

He nodded.

"Why?"

"Well, cause you need help."

"No, I don't."

"C'mon. You grew up at the sreets!"

"Is that bad?"

"Um...no...but it can be improved."

"Oh...ok..."

So, when they were going home, people made fun of her. But she just kept her head down, allowing her hair to cover her eyes.

"Look at that girl! She looks like a b*tch!"

"HEY! DON'T CALL HER THAT!" Astro said, glaring at them.

"It's ok...Im used to it..."

"That dosen't matter. They shouldn't do it."

Her eyes grew wide hearing that.

No one had ever protected her.

EVER.

...

Night shivered.

She coughed, too.

"Here." Said a soft voice.

She looked up and realized that Astro was offering him his jacket.

"B-but...what about you?"

"I have heaters installed inside me, so I'll be ok."

But she still hesitated.

"C'mon, Night, you'll catch a cold."

"Im ok, Astro, just-"

She accidently left his jacket and it tembled down the deathdrop cliff.

"Oh, no...Astro, Im so sorry! I didn't-"

"Hey, Night, it's ok."

"No, it's not! Wait, if i could just...aha!" She exclaimed, pulling out a wooden board off the ground.

"Wait, what're you doing?" Asked a clueless Astro.

"Just stay here. I'll get your jacket back."

"But there is no need, really."

"Yes, there is, really."

She put the board on the ground, climed on it, and pushed herself in front by her foot, and went down the cliff, with the use of the board as a skateboard.

After some time, she was back.

"Um...your jacket got...a bit dirty so I washed it..." She said shyly, blushing.

"Uh...thanks..." He said, blushing too, "But you'll feel cold now..."

"I'll be fine, Astro."

Astro slowly wrapped his arm around her.

"Can I do this, atleast?"

She blushed and said, "Yeah..."
