The Sleepless Night

Harry laid there in bed, fully awake. He was flat on his back, his hand laid on his torso; his head was cocked sideways to look at the body that lay beside him fast asleep. He just stared at the body; it was Ginny, his wife. "She's my wife" Harry thought "My wife", he couldn't get it out of his head, the thought was just too surreal for him. As she slept, the moonlight flowed through the window and caressed her gentle tresses in her soft, red hair. Harry picked up one of the tresses and twirled it around his finger gently, trying not to awake Ginny. It was very soft, softer than the finest silk. Harry had so much on his mind, but decided on shutting it out, due to he was on his Honeymoon. Ginny rolled over and snuggled close to him. Her warm, soft skin against him was comforting. Harry gently slid his arm around her and pulled her close; all she did was sigh sleepily and nuzzle her cheek against his chest. Harry now stared at the ceiling, his mind completely on her. The wonderful thoughts of the girl who was so close to him made his heart melt. Just the plain thought of her beautiful curves made him melt, oh the curves on the girl! Whew. Ginny was a beauty and Harry couldn't deny it, not even right in front of Ron.

Ginny awoke just enough to hear Harry's heartbeat accelerate against her ear. She nuzzled him again, this time against the neck and he seemed to calm down a little. Ginny went back to sleep, Harry, however, couldn't sleep, just the plain thought of Ginny lying next to him would keep him awake thinking it was a dream.

Author's Notes:

O.k. crappy ending, I know. But it had to end somewhere?

I had originally written this for fun, throughout the school day. Lunch period came along and my language arts teacher came through the door about the same time I got done with this particular story, so I just asked him to read it, he said it was a little provocative, which is a little bit of the point. Eventually I was made to read it in front of the classroom. There was an awkward silence afterwards. Nobody said anything, which means they couldn't believe I wrote that or they thought it was weird, I shall never know. Thank you for reading!
