A oneshot for the one hundred and fiftieth reviewer of my story Operation Riptide, Dark Shade 74. It's a romance between Arcee and Jack which personally isn't a pairing I ship, but I promised a oneshot of his/her choice, and therefore it is a fluffy little story about Arcee and Jack's relationship.

It was quiet, and Arcee was enjoying it. Miko was out enjoying some 'relaxation' time with Bulkhead, whilst Raf was out playing racing games with Bumblebee. Optimus and Ratchet were out scouring for energon and she was off-duty due to a recent injury.

The fact that Ratchet still hadn't reattached her leg wasn't something that had stopped her, it was Ratchet that had practically tied her to her berth.

"I'm not repairing it till you've learnt not to be so reckless!" Ratchet had bellowed at her as both he and Optimus headed out without her.

Jack, seemed to think it was quite hilarious.

"I don't know why you're laughing," Ratchet had scorned "You have to stay here and watch her" Ratchet had called back as they space bridge had closed and they both vanished.

Jack had abruptly stopped laughing and Arcee had begun.

However the silence now reigned again, but Arcee wasn't entirely concerned.

Jack stood on the berth in front of her, not looking at her but watching over her all the same, observing the various different charts showing her vitals.

She wasn't in any trouble at all and they both knew this, but still he watched over her, like a tiny guardian angel watching over her, over all of them.

Like a white knight, as Miko would put it. Although when Miko said it she was usually pulling a sour face and muttering something about stupid princess idealisms.

"You know, instead of acting like Ratch you could always sit with me and just…Oh, I don't know…enjoy the moment?" Arcee suggested with a slight smile and Jack deflated, looking sheepish as he faced Arcee.

"Sorry, old habits" He muttered and he turned and walked over to her, and she reached down to help him up to her shoulder where he always sat.

And they did just that, sit. Together, in silence, and let the day waste away. Arcee could feel the rhythmic beating of his heart, if she heightened her hearing just a little. Jack could feel the heat from her pulsating spark vibrate throughout her body, and it made his heart flutter just a little whenever it did. It sent shivers down his spine, and heat rising through Arcee's system.

But they just sat, and waited for the sun to descend outside and the others to return.

Yeah, it's short. I haven't written fluff before, this was good practise I guess? Tell me what you think, how I could improve etc. I need to know cause I'm trying to write fluffy stuff and it isn't working.
