Twilight sighed, as she was reading by a pond. The pond was pretty shallow. Twilight never noticed it though. Not until recently. She recently saw three swans in the pond, two white, one brown. Swans had a weird nature. They were rather aggressive, but still beautiful.
Twilight closed her book, and the pink sparkles on the book and her horn faded away. She stood up, and walked lightly back to town.
It was rather quiet. Too quiet. Her sister, Luna, was usually fortune telling somewhere. But, she didn't find Luna anywhere. So Twilight kept walking home to town, hoping to see her on the way. But she didn't. By the time Twilight was in town, she hadn't spotted Luna anywhere.
She went into her father's bakery, hoping Luna was there. „Father?" She asked. Her father came in, using magic to carry a cake. „Yes dear?", he answered, blowing his dark blue hair out of his face. Twilight looked around herself. „Um... Have you seen Luna anywhere?" „Your older sister? She's been sick all day."
Twilight narrowed her eyes of how stupid she felt. „All day!?" „Yes." The blue colt nodded. „She's upstairs resting. It took some time for Twilight to come to her senses, but she shaked her head quickly. „U-uhm... I'll go upstairs and talk to her..."
Her father nodded again, as Twilight awkwardly started walking upstairs. „Luna?" She asked, while knocking softly on the door. No one answered.
Out of curiosity, Twilight slowly and quietly opened the door. Luna was fast alseep in her bed. Luna tilted her head, as she walked in. She looked at the dark mare. Luna really was her idol. With her beautiful deep blue coat, and hair, that sparkled like stars in the night. Twilight smiled to herslef.
„BOO!" Luna shouted as she quickly opened her eyes. Twilight jumped back. Twilight looked shocked, whilst Luna only laughed.
„L-Luna!" Twiligh said, annoyed, yet scared. She hadn't stopped shivering. „You should've seen the look on your face!" Luna said, laughing between words. „Not. Funny." Twilight stated, with a grumpy look on her face. „Naw, don't be such a grump!" „I'm not a grump!" She said, not changing her grumpy facial expression „Whatever you say, Grumpy Sparkle." Luna rolled her eyes.
Twilight exhaled a little, before asking her dear sister why she hadn't told her she was sick. „Well, I didn't want you to worry about me. You're too overprotective..." „I'm not! First you call me grumpy, and now overprotective!?"
Twilight sighed. „Anyway, I'm going to buy us dinner. Anything you want?" „Overprotectiiiiiive!" Luna said, laughing. Twilight chanced back to her grumpy facial expression. „Fine then! Be like that!" Luna chuckled. „I was only kidding. Could you buy me some Earl Grey tea, and ask for a pain killer?" The purple unicorn nodded, and left soon after.
It was evening already, and Twilight had found everything, except for her sister's tea. Twilight was rather overprotective of her sister. Probably because their mother passed away, and Twilight didn't have any friends care for.
Twilight had wandered the town for an hour, yet hadn't found the tea her sister asked for. Twilght then got an idea. The everfree forest. There were herbs there, that she could use to make tea from. She was sure their dad could help her. Twilight swallowed a bit nervously.
She had never been in a forest alone before. Especially at dawn. But she went in it anyway. Nothing was more important than her sister.
She could hardly see where she was walking, so she lightened up her horn to see better. The road was rather muddy. And the tree's were dark brown, yet the leaves were more of a grey color. Suddenly, she heard hoofsteps. Faster, and faster. Coming towards her. Until it was so close it could probably be right in front of her.
